Cross-posted from http://www.myspace.com/fridayfangirlfantasm:

I'll get to the show at some point, but now for something far more exciting . . .

From Scholastic.com:

"(December 21, 2006) J.K. Rowling announced today on her website the title of her as yet undelivered 7th book, which is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The publication date has not been set."

Check out www.MuggleNet.com (my favorite HP site) for instructions for revealing the title yourself on Jo's website, speculation on release date, and title debate/discussion on their forums.

This is probably as good an excuse as any to make my next episode HP-centric. That's pretty much what I wanted, anyway. Tate looks frakkin' adorable in a Gryffindor scarf. Not that my roommate Marina and I have ever put either of our Gryffindor scarves on him and taken many, many pictures before or anything . . .

On that issue: I'm honestly NOT a person who advocates putting animals in clothing (we often quote the response to the question 'what's Monica's biggest pet peeve,' from Friends: "ANIMALS DRESSED AS PEOPLE!"), but, well, Tate is just so damn adorable, and it's not like we're dressing him up completely . . .

Also, I have to share my good friend Martin's response to my text message about the title of the book (I hope you don't mind, Martin, but it completely cracked me up) - Brian, you'll love this:

"More like 'Harry Potter: Hermione SWALLOWS!' Am I right?"

SO inappropriate. SO frakkin' brilliant.

P.S. My luggage is lost somewhere in the Washington Dulles airport, and apparently, United Airlines does not believe in the existence of orange luggage, so one of my bags has been classified as "yellow." Surely this detailed and accurate description will help expedite the search. Now, I only took four art classes in college (almost a minor), but I'm fairly sure that YELLOW IS NOT ORANGE!

EDIT: My luggage arrived, including a lovely broken bottle of green nail polish . . . fantastic.
